Inquiry (采购产品): Cable Gentlemen, we have a potential application for (600v) cable to provide power to a system of Aircraft Warning Lights. These lights require 7 connectors of which 4 need to be 10 Ga. The cable will be installed in an exposed location, without a conduit, and will be clamped (or tied), at roughly 3 ft - 5 ft spacing, to a wire rope carrier. Each individual length of cable will be roughly 350 ft and the wire rope/cable combination will hang almost vertically from an anchor at the top. The wire rope will be permanently tensioned to prevent movement. The cable will be exposed to all normal climatic conditions at the installed location(s) (which would normally be continental USA). The service of the Aircraft Warning Lights is on elevated Flare Stacks in Refineries. These normally have large flames on the top (perhaps 30 - 50 ft or more away from the closest section of cable and away from flame lick considerations). Nonetheless, the exposed cable may see radiant heat from the flame and, in the extreme, the local equilibrium temperature at the upper end would exceed ambient conditions. We believe that a cable with a 150 degC continuous rating (higher intermittently) would probably satisfy the service requirements. We need to specify a cable (armoured ?) which is stocked by a distributor, as procurement would be on a project basis with only roughly 1000 ft in any one lot. Are you able to make a recommendation based on your capability and furnish a price and delivery for a lot of 1050 ft. (3 x 350 ft) Thank you for your assistance.
