Inquiry (采购产品): diff locks Dear sir, We manufacture automotive differential locks. The design has a locking ring which is ingauged over one axle gear causing the differential planetary gear to become immobilised. We currently manufacture the planetary gears out of billit steel, the locking ring out of 4140 hollow bar and drop forge the cross shaft. ( four pronged cross ) We want to know briefly what are the costs and savings in sinting bevel gears compared to manufacturing out of billet steel. Are the splines sinted as well ?
