Inquiry (采购产品): pricing Hello, My name is Kathleen Stalford, I am the Production Manager at (PEP). PEP is a day Program for Developmentally Disabled Individuals in South Philadelphia. It is a Non-Profit organization, and in the Production Department we do assembly, collating, packaging etc. and our clients get paid by the piece rate. When we do contract work for Companies we need to do Time Studies for each job to give the Company a competitive price to fulfill their needs. One step of the Process that we are required to do is try to get a Prevailing Wage from Companies such as yourself when/if we area doing a Time Study for similar work that you do. A Prevailing Wage is an Approximate hourly rate that a non handicapped person would make doing the same type of work that our individuals are doing. At present we are doing a time study on measuring out a certain length of ribbon, cutting it to size, folding it various times until it is a certain size, banding it and then packaging it in a re-closable polybag. If you do anything similar to this, can you help us out by providing us with an approximate hourly rate that you would pay your employees to do the same work.
