Sincerely, L.Barbora Scientific Officer Centre for Energy IIT Guwahati DESIRED SPECIFICATION OF THE ITEM: 1. The unit must be suitable to process 3-5 Kg/ Hr during continuous operation.2. Materials of construction: SS-3163. Evaporator surface and heating jackets should be heat able up to 350°C.4. Evaporating surface area : 0.05 sq m (approximately)5. Heating medium: Heating oil6. The system should have individually heating jacket for evaporator, residue, distillateand condenser with the necessary interfaces.7. Maximum temp of the internal condenser: 200 °C8. Maximum pressure in the condenser: Min 5 - 8 bar9. The system should be provided with self cleaning roller wiper system with aminimum of 3 strands of PTFE wiper rollers.10.The cold trap should be made with borosilicate with a minimum volume of 0.5 lit forthe use of liquid nitrogen/dry ice as cooling media.11.System should be supported by double stage rotary vane pump with a suctioncapacity of minimum 5 Cu M/Hr and set for a pressure of at least 0.05 mbar along witha digital vacuum gauge.12. Oil diffusion pump for pressure : < 0.001 mbar.13. Feed system: Solenoid diaphragm dosing pump with a selectable feed rate up to 10lit/hr. The system also should have a graduated dosing funnel ( at least 1 lit volume)made of borosilicate glass with a double jacket for heating with oil.14. Carrousels ( at least 250 ml capacity) for the collection of samples of residue anddistillate without breaking the vacuum.15. Heat able intermediate graduated glass receiver ( at least one litre volume) fordistillate and residue systems.16. Discharge glass flask (2 necked) of at least 5 lit volume for both distillate andresidue17. Additional vacuum pump for discharge systems.18Thermal oil circulation thermostats with digital display.19.Heating unit for the evaporator with a temperature range of 50-350 ° C.20. Mobile rack with support frame for fixing all the components of the systems.21.Operating manual/ Technical manual with all the spare part drawings, spare partslists and operating instructions.22. Spare parts for 2 years should be supplied.23. Necessary UPS for continuous operation ( 30 mts back up time)24. Necessary accessories.SCOPE OF SUPPLY:Assembly : 1.Complete assembly of SPDU along with other equipment such as feedtank, feed pump, feed pre-heater, flash evaporator, vapor condenser, concentratestorage tank, distillate storage tank, cold trap, hot oil unit, vaccum pump, any otherequipment required for this unit,all process piping & valves.
