Inquiry (采购产品): solder for pewter I am a pewtersmith looking for solder that is lead free. My "problem" is that pewter melts at about 430 degrees F. I have been reading about tin/indium solder and wonder if this might not be the answer to my needs. I create cups (meaning I would have to have a solder to attach handle to cup) and porringers, etc. I need a solder that will be strong enough to hold these pieces together and would not be brittle (handles won't fall off). Do you have a product that would work for this use. I obviously am not a large corp. so my purchase quantity would be small. I would appreciate your input on this. Thanks. Thanks again for your time.
