Inquiry (采购产品): titanium bolts and nuts Hello, My name is Dylan Dixon and I am a Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Idaho. I am involved in a group of other MEs who are building a cleaner, quieter and more efficient snowmobile which we will enter in a competition against other school's designs. Many of these other teams use four stroke engines in their designs. This makes the machine heavy and cumbersome along with being less powerfull compared to the traditional two-stroke engine. At the University of Idaho we are striving to create a snowmobile that is clean, quiet and efficient, while maintaining the powerfull two-stroke engine. We are currently building a direct injection two-stroke skidoo snowmobile for the competition in March 2007. One of our main concerns is the weight of our sled. Although it is lighter than nearly all of the machines at the competition, it is heavier than a production snowmobile because of the addition of noise damping and exhaust components. To help alieviate this problem we would like to replace all of the bolts and screws on our sled with titanium ones. We would like to ask you if you would consider sponsoring us with discounted titanium components. In exchange we would have your companie's logo on our machine at competition. This competition is put on by the Society of Automotive Engineers and is held near Houghton MI. If you would like any more information about UofI clean snowmobile club or the competition I would be gald to send it to you. Thank you for your time, sincerely, Dylan Dixon **** Hidden Message ***** Dylan Dixon 83843 Company: Clean Snowmobile Club.
