Inquiry (采购产品): Inquiry aboiut Ti tube bending Hello, My name is Alessandro Pizzochero and I am an engineer with Starboard Innovations. I am currently working on a project where I will need the capability to form a "coil" (Spring-like) of Ti tube about .3" OD and .25"ID. This coil has 3-4 turns at a pitch of 0.5" and an OD of 3" max. I would need a tube that has 2 of these at either end where the tube's central section is approximately 20" long. We are obviously concerned about the structural integrity of the tube after processing and are open to any comments and/or recommendations. I know that there are certain alloys of Ti that are better suited for bending (Ti 6Al-4V) and that the actual bending process is a little challenging in itself. However, if you have this capability I would be interested in sharing some of the details and possibly getting some price quotes for a prototype run.
