Inquiry (采购产品): HOT FORGING Common sense tells me that vision inspection will not work on 2,000F parts, but I am asking anyway. We are quoting a system to pick parts from a forge press and load to hot trim dies. As always when trying to do with automation what a human can do with a glance is not easy. What I would like to be able to do is have the robot hold the forged platter in front of vision inspection camera to detect that forged parts are in their proper location within say +/- .010". The "parts" are embedded in a forged steel "platter". In the next operation, a Trim Press punches the part through a Trim Die, and the Platter flash is discarded. An operator can accomodate platter inconsistencies and seat the parts properly in the Trim Die. With a robot, if parts placement within platter vary, the robot will not place properly in Trim Die and possibly break dies, or at the least trim bad parts. Is this feasible? **** Hidden Message ***** John E. Bancroft 1098 Harvard Drive SE Warren, OH 44484 USA Company: J.B. INDUSTRIES, Ltd.
