Inquiry (采购产品): Custom Machine I own a small company who does manual assembly work for a small engine manufacturer. I'm interested in having a custom machine designed and built. The machine would unroll 4.5 gage nylon rope from a spool, melt the outer weave 1/2-3/4" long(artose, as in shoestring ends), then be fed through a plastic pull handle and indexed to my specified length, probably 88.625". It would then be angle cut in the middle of the artose section leaving 6" of rope protruding from the top of the plastic handle. The next step would be manual in which an operator would tie a knot in the end of the rope. The rope would then be pulled inside the handle, indexed to the next station and dropped into a hopper. The manual tying step could be automated but I think that greatly increase the difficulty in design and manufacturing of the machine, not to mention the cost.
