Inquiry (采购产品): Inferior Rolite Bulbs Almost 10 years ago I purchased energy savings bulbs from Con Edision, our electric supplier. They are still working. In addition, 3 years ago I purchased energy saving bulbs in a discount store for $2.99 each, and they are still working. Less than one year ago I purchased 6 Rolite 15W bulbs from Manor Electric in Brooklyn, NY for a fan fixture. They were $7.00 each. I still have the bill. 2 of them burned out within 7 months of use, and a 3rd one died today. What is even more unbelievable is that the day I purchased them I also bought a regular 60W GE bulb which is still working. This is very distressing. These bulbs are supposed to last for years. Had I know they were inferior I would not have spent near $7/bulb for a total of $42 plus tax! I am on social security and can't afford to spend this kind of money on light bulbs...especially if they die out in less than a year. It was a one time expensive purchase because I thought they would last. I assume the 2 I have left will die out soon and I will have to replace all 6 bulbs with regular GE bulbs. I feel like I was ripped off and will never purhase a Rolite product again.
