Urethane Inquiry Inquiry (采购产品): Urethane Inquiry I am contacting you to gain some information on your company. My company, Pleiger Plastics, is a manufacturer of polyurethane rod, sheet and tube parts, as well as a custom molder of any and all urethane parts. I came across your company on the internet and I wanted to find out if you currently distributed urethane or if this product line would be something your company would be interesting in distributing. We currently sell through distribution, but we are always looking to partner up with successful, growing companies. I have no idea if our products would be beneficial for your company to distribute, so if you would like to look over our website or if there is some interest, I can forward you some literature. Here is a little information on Pleiger Plastics, if you have any questions at all, give me a call. Pleiger Plastics Company was started in the US in 1987 as a custom manufacturer of Vulkollan ( highest grade urethane available). Vulkollan is used throughout Europe and with a large chunk of machinery and equipment coming from Europe, Pleiger German ( our headquarters) decided to open a plant here in the states to manufacture the replacement parts for all the equipment coming from overseas. Pleiger Plastics introduced Vulkollan to the United States, up until Pleiger was here, anyone who wanted a replacement part was stuck ordering from overseas, getting gouged on pricing and waiting for delivery for extended periods. Over the course of time, we developed 15 different urethane materials, specific for certain applications, we offer an FDA Dry material, an FDA Wet material, material for water applications, material for high temperature applications and so on. We continue to be one of only two US manufacturers of Vulkollan and we are the only custom molder of this material. We are also the only manufacturer of Vulkollan Foam, a polyurethane based foam that is incredible for shock absorbing applications, belting, bumpers and so on. In 1997, we decided to get into the Stock Shapes ( rod, sheet and tube) aspect of urethanes. Since then, we have really taken off with our distribution side of the business, I could forward you a list of the shapes we carry along with pricing if you are interested.
