Composites Merit Badge Inquiry (采购产品): Composites Merit Badge Sir, Ma’am, The Fort Knox Scouting Community will hold it's 6th Annual Future Leader's Day (FLD07) at Fort Knox on the weekend of 4 AUG 07. We would like for your organization to participate this year. This event is open to everyone (Kentucky, United States, and the rest of the World), as well as the Scouting, and Fort Knox community. Youth of all ages are the focus of this event, since they are the future leaders of the nation. This event will afford Scouts the opportunity to complete work toward badges, pins, and achievements, and will afford ALL youth an opportunity to try new things, learn something, and have FUN. As is tradition, this is a FREE EVENT. There is no registration fee, admission fee, or required donation. FLD is similar to a fair during which there are activities, exhibits, and booths for our Future Leaders. This year’s theme is “Prepared for the Future”. The events at FLD07 are open to ALL youth (not just scouts) and their families. We hope to draw boys, girls, and their families from Kentucky, and all over the country. We were hoping that your organization could bring an event / booth / presence to FLD this year. You could even assist with teaching parts of the NEW Composites Merit Badge, offered by the Boy Scouts. Just about anything that your organization would like to bring/do would be welcome. We’re providing you with a time to put out whatever message you’d like to the youth and Scouts, which will range in age from Kindergarten - Adult. Feel free to use whatever means you’d like, to include handouts, displays, interactive events, training, or activities (or all if you’d like). Based on last year, we think that we could possibly expect around 1200-1500 youth and their families. Of course, you would be able to decorate your area with promotional materiel, flyers, etc., as we know this will benefit your organization, and hopefully bring you more business or further your goals. Another great aspect of participating is that you can write off your participation as either an advertising venture, or as a charitable contribution to scouting (whichever works best for your company/organization). We know that your organization understands that the Cub, Boy, and Girl Scouts of America instill values and ideals, which are congruent to the values and ideals which are needed by, and essential to becoming productive, effective future leaders in our communities. We sincerely hope that you will assist us in this endeavor to further develop our “Future Leaders”, provide interesting and educational information and/or fun activities, and at the same time provide a weekend of fun for all of the youth and families in attendance.
