Interface with shop or field personnel to resolve design issues, up-date drawings, and order parts and equipment as required. Proficient drafting experience with AutoCAD 2000v and some Micro-Station 6.0v. Drawing types (from size `A’ to `E’) include: drawing schedules, site elevation, plot and floor plans, 2D & isometric, equipment layout, as-builts, and B.O.M.’s, ladder and wiring diagrams, schematics, electrical panel and PLC layouts. Capable of producing blueprint copies. Provide complete construction drawings and plans for panel fabricator, contractor, and/or installer. Maintain CAD drawing files and directory organization. Knowledge and experience of scaling drawing and utilize both U.S. and Metric Standards. Generate and maintain bills of materials, equipment parts, stock numbers, and descriptions on company database such as Excel or Access. Test, analyze, checkout, and document for repair or correction of new equipment before installation and/or service. Experienced with many kinds of electrical testing equipment along with hand and power tools.
