Inquiry (采购产品): employment opportunities May 3, 2007 Dear Sir/Madam: RE: Human Resources My earlier career in engineering at Parker Hannifin greatly assisted me in recognizing all the facets required for accomplishing technical sales. It also gave me that ‘technical’ knowledge and ‘ability to relate’ that is required for success in many positions. This understanding of blueprints, testing and inspection procedures as well as machining processes was essential. Until a few months ago I was the Director of Operations with a medical equipment company. My technical and sales abilities have been essential in allowing me to further recognize what must be effectively accomplished so more sales can be made. Throughout my career I have had exemplary results in operations/sales management. My career is the result of effective organization and communication leading to highly proficient customer service. To obtain these results, I closely coordinated with all departments within my company and many within my customer’s organization. I learned early that providing prompt service and solving customer problems is essential. In the Detroit area, I was with J.N. Fauver, the largest fluid power (pneumatics, electronics production-sensing systems) distributor in N. America. In a previously established territory, I expanded the customer base by almost 100% in the first year. My success was due to my technical and customer service background, giving me the ability to combine all their product lines to offer complete automated systems for production, prototype or inspection. My accomplishments at Fauver are noted on my resume (attached)…"increased sales over 300% in the initial year..." In another sales position I covered a multi-state territory with the Lubrizol Corporation. In a little more than 3-1/2 years, I increased sales (in a territory described as saturated, prior to my entry) from $3.2 to $5.5 mil. These exemplary results are again due to these same abilities, allowing me to add new channels into which to market existing products. As I earlier mentioned my success in each of these areas was in a great way due to my technical abilities. This gave me the unique ability to relate with my customers. It gave me that ‘technical’ knowledge and ‘ability to relate’ that is required for success in many positions. This success is even more-so due to my organizational abilities. I am searching for a position which would utilize these attributes.
