Inquiry (采购产品): Cleaning Drill Blanks from Heat Treat Dear Sir, My name is Walter Morris and I am the new Production and Inventory Control Manager at the Clemson Kennametal Drill manufacturing facility in Clemson, S.C.. My current task is to improve the cleaning process of our drill blanks after heat treat. These parts range in size from 1/2" diameter 5" long to 1/8" diameter 3" long. I am having major problems with Salt contamination after our end of Heat Treat Dip Clean process. I need to have a process that will clean the blanks, remove light salt residue, and remove some of the heat treat scale. These parts will be ground to side, but the current process is causing sticking and salt marks on parts. I have worked with Delong in the past, Previously with Aeroquip in Toccoa Ga, and I know you can help. Please let me know who to contact for further review.
