Inquiry (采购产品): Aircraft senior design Fiber Dynamics, Inc. I am a student at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University working on my senior aircraft design project. We are designing a light-sport aircraft that carries two people and has a maximum gross weight of 800 pounds. As part of the project I am required to perform a cost analysis for our team’s design. The analysis needs to be only an estimate since our design may never be produced. We have considered subcontracting our composite parts to a company who specializes in manufacturing the items we require. These parts include a fuselage with integrated wing box, seats, and wheel pants. The dimensions for these items are as follows: Fuselage and wing box composite lay-up should be: 4 ply fiberglass, foam core, 4 ply fiberglass. Fuselage: Area - 7 square yards Wing box: Area - 3.5 square yards, Width - 3.33 feet Seats: Width - 1.5 feet Wheel Pants: Length - 2.67 feet, Width – 0.5 feet. For the analysis we intend building in excess of 300 aircraft. My question is therefore, how much do you estimate it will cost for you to manufacture this for us?
