Inquiry (采购产品): frequency changers I am a consultant for a US company starting a tool & die shop in Shanghai, China. They want to send existing machinery from here to there and therefore must consider the differences in frequency, voltage and resultant current. The main concern, of course are the motors which would burn up. I need to be able to determine the availability of frequency changers and their comparative cost versus buying new motors. Most of what they use are 120 single ph and 220/440/ 3ph in the 1 -10 HP range. They also use Electrical discharge machinery that uses spark erosion technology to "burn" forms into steel which converts 220 3ph vac to dc current with operator-variable current up to approx 60 amps and 200 vdc. What is available? Is there a limit to what your equipment will handle? Can their be a cenral unit for all or would each machine require separate control? **** Hidden Message ***** John Huber 32952 Company: Huber Enterprises E-mail: hubent@earthlink.net **** Hidden Message ***** hubent@earthlink.net
