ID #35-1866925 ddkriplen@ameritech.net March 11, 2007 I am a consulting Mechanical Engineer. I am researching incinerators/converters for a client that is anticipating entering the production of ethanol at a very low rate of 1.5million gals per year. The charging material will be corn. Twenty-one tons of dry distillers grains combined with water will be thrown off the process every day. Would you please respond to the following preliminary questions: ? Do you supply incinerators sized for this continuous application ? What is the highest moisture level of DDGS that will sustain combustion without supplemental heat ? What is the highest moisture level of DDGS that will sustain combustion with constant supplemental heat ? How much steam could be expected from a unit handling equivalent of 21 tons of dry DDSG per day and what would be its condition. ? Can your converters be idled for 12 hours and run at nearly double capacity for 12 hours ? Costs associated with operating a converter. ? Cost and delivery of a converter ? What are relevant permits and regulations for a converter in Indiana Best regards, Dave Kriplen, PE **** Hidden Message ***** donald kriplen 2601 W. 42nd St Indianapolis, IN 46228 USA Company: rubicon engineering Title: president Phone: (317) 291-4600 Fax: same E-mail: ddkriplen@ameritech.net **** Hidden Message ***** ddkriplen@ameritech.net
