Fire Storage Tank Bubbler System Inquiry (采购产品): Fire Storage Tank Bubbler System I am currently involved in the construction phase of a project with a 40,000 gallon fire storage tank. The tank is a vertical above ground tank. We specified a Tank Bubbler System (See Attached Specifications). The contractor is having trouble finding a supplier to provide the bubbler system. Do you have a product you could recommend for this application. Thank you very much for your help in this matter. A. Tank Bubbler System 1. Furnish and install a complete fire storage tank bubbler system to prevent ice formation within the tank during low ambient conditions. The tank bubbler system shall include all devices, equipment, piping, fittings, controls, wiring for a complete and operational system. The tank bubbler system shall be as manufactured by Air Diffuser Systems or approved equal. 2. Furnish tank bubbler system with heavy duty, oil-less air compressor of the size, capacity and electrical characteristics as indicated on the contract drawings. Air compressor shall be factory furnished with 8 Ft, 3-prong plug for attachment to a standard receptacle. Furnish air compressor with pressure switch, safety relief valve, and receiver. 3. Furnish tank bubbler system with the following: a). Penn control with external thermal bulb. b). Galvanized header for tank compressor with ball valves, check valves, pressure gauge, and fittings. c). Ice melting tubing and feeder tubing. d). PVC manifold with PVC ball check valve. e). Fittings, connectors, inserts, elbows as required. f). Air diffusion systems uncoiling reel. g). Stainless steel pipe penetration and elbows at tank. 4. Furnish and install all control and interlock wiring. Unit shall automatically energize when ambient temperature falls to 35 degrees F (adjustable). Unit shall re-start automatically in the event of a power failure. B. Testing 1. Following completion of erection and cleaning of the tank, the tank shall be tested for liquid-tightness by filling the tank to its overflow elevation. 2. Any leaks disclosed by the test shall be corrected by the erector in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations. 3. Water required for testing shall be furnished at the time of completion by the Fire Protection Contractor without charge. 4. Labor and equipment necessary for tank testing shall be included in the price of the tank. C. Warranty 1. The tank manufacturer shall warrant the tank against any defects in workmanship and materials for a period of two (2) years from the date of shipment.
