Re: Sales / Sales Engnieering opportunities

Inquiry (采购产品): Re: Sales / Sales Engnieering opportunities With more than 15 years as a biomedical engineer and project leader in the medical device industry, I am looking to shift focus towards a sales engineering position. My knowledge of several product lines -- hips, sports medicine, and knees, so far – has shown me that basic design principles are really fundamental across all implant products. My background also includes observing over 100 knee, hip and arthroscopic surgeries, so I understand both the need for quick technical information to minimize OR expenses and time as well as the protocols to be followed. I have had extensive interaction with surgeons when leading design teams and pride myself on providing the timely and accurate follow-up they expect. I’ve trained sales reps on product design and therefore know the value of communicating clearly and directly. And I’ve written, edited and reviewed sales communication pieces that ranged from troubleshooting guides available online to CD-ROMs of surgical techniques to persuasive sales brochures for the field and for customers. Overall, I’m already knowledgeable about the technical engineering principles, am familiar with the sales tools to market products, and have shadowed sales reps on many occasions. Most importantly, I have established long-term relationships with surgeon consultants, who respect an objective, technical perspective when it comes to choosing the product to best suit their needs. A field position is something I wish to pursue not only because I have these skills, but also because I have the drive and the motivation to help close effectively. Sincerely, Marc G.
