Inquiry (采购产品): low vibration in home. We have a low frequency hum/vibration occurring in our home, devastating our sleep. Fans or ear plugs don't mask it, the sound is too low. It is not power/electrical related. We think it is either/or parking lot cleaning trucks plus roof mounted air compressors on a nearby factory. The sound is low amplitude, but also low frequency, I"m guessing around 50 hz or so. Like breathing over an empty coke bottle. Attic insulation and thicker windows have not helped. You can hear it through your pillow. I've been reading up on structure borne noise. We have a two story Georgian, circa 1958, in Chicago. Noise tends to pulse gently, but wakes us up. We are looking for any product you might offer for either ? floors (they are wood) or....? We are 'reaching' that maybe it is a vibration from the chimney, we do have a cap, we don't know.
