Inquiry (采购产品): Spiral Torsion Spring Hi, my name is Matt Haberland and I'm a co-op student working at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. I'm designing a part and I need a spring to exert 1.5 N*m per radian (.23 in*lb/deg.) or a constant 1 N*m (13.3in*lb) of torque over 3/2 pi radians (270 degrees). The inner diameter must be greater than 20 mm (.8 in) and the outer diameter should be no more than 40 mm (1.58 in) - the thinner the better. It's preferable that the width be no more than 10 mm (.4 in) and I'd like the number of cycles to be at least 5000, preferably 10000+. Do you make spiral torsion springs (also known as Open Spiral Springs or Hair Springs) meeting those specifications? If not, what is the closest sized spring that meets the torque requirement? Would a a helical spring be better suited to this application? Thanks!
