Inquiry (采购产品): Rapid Prototyping STUDENT INQUIRY Hi, my name is Jose Levano and I am an Industrial Design student from the University of the Arts, Philadelphia. I am working on a senior thesis project concerning skateboard wheels. I have been prototyping custom wheel tread designs in CAD and then had them resin 3D printed. I then used the resin print as a positive cast to mold urethane wheels. I am writing to you because I want to continue to rapid prototype 3 new designs. Since I am a student, I have a very low budget yet understand that rapid prototyping is not a cheap and easy task. I was hoping that we could make an arrangement that could benefit the both of us. On May 8th our class is holding an Industrial Design Thesis Exhibition that will be up for 2 weeks. This will showcase all of our projects in Reading Terminal Market center city. If possible, could we arrange a type of sponsorship where I advertise and showcase your company logo in several parts of our exhibition. This is particularly important because of the heavy 90,000 person traffic that happens on a weekly basis. In exchange we could work out something in order for you to rapid prototype 3 - 2 1/2" CAD designs for me. If possible even help me mold urethane parts.
