The major components of the system comprises of: 1) One 750 m3 MgO (85-90%, 200 mesh) silo with 8.0 m ID; 2) Two slakers with agitators: 40 m3 (3.5 m ID x 4.2 m H); 3) Grit (sand etc.)removal from the slakers; slurry concentration is 15-20%; 4) One common slurry tank with agitator(6.0 m ID x 7.6 m); 5) Two slurry pumps (80 m3/h, 30 m).
