Inquiry (采购产品): Abrasion Test Hello, We are looking for a laboratory that can perform the following test (or recommended equivalent): "A 2-inch section of the wire reinforced portion of the hose assembly shall be subjected to the abrasion test specified in CCC-T-191, Method 5308. The abradant shall be Type I, Hard Texture, Duck No. 10, per CCC-C-419. A one pound weight shall be placed upon the shaft of the Schieffer Abrasion Tester to produce a constant, evenly distributed load upon the sample throughout the test. The specimen holder on the Schieffer Abrasion Tester shall be modified to retain a 2-inch length of hose. After being subjected to 1000 revolutions, the reinforcing wire spiral shall not be exposed." We would provide the 2-inch specimen. The outside diameter of the hose is not more than 1/2 inch. We understand that one or more of the specifications have been superseded or maybe canceled. The key, however, is to have the equipment cited or the equivalent. If you can propose a different abrasion test with similar output, we are willing to consider it.
