Inquiry (采购产品): Need a product Manufactured We found your website yesterday and wanted to contact you about manufacturing our product. We sell wood Guitar Case Racks (and have for the past 3 years) made entirely of hardwoods and hardwood veneered Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF). You can see our product on our website (www.guitarstorage.com ) by clicking on the ‘Shop for Racks’ button. Once you get to that page, you can click on the photos to enlarge them to get a better look at the product. The design is very simple: It consists of two (2) ?” hardwood veneered sides with four (4) 49 ?” long hardwood cross rails (two (2) that are 5 inches wide and two (2) that are 3 inches wide), joined to the curved sides with knock-down fittings (there are four (4) knockdowns per rail, totaling 16), and 7 hardwood dowels. The bottom front rail has a 1 ?” board glued perpendicular to it (in a “T” formation) for added strength. The forward edge of the two sides has inlaid edging strips (which we will provide for you) that are glued to them edges using a spray-on contact cement to quicken set time. In addition, each of the 2 sides has white Delrin-like tips glued into them into which the male connectors for the rails are screwed. The entire rack is sealed with a catalystic sealant,then scuffed, and finally top-coated with conversion varnish to a 40 sheen. We would need you to handle the manufacturing, boxing and shipping via ups. We can also optionally provide the boxes for you. Initially, we should be able to provide you with all the CNC data for the job and possibly even any jigs and specialized tools we might have used for the process. I am going to have to check on exactly what we have but I should have that info very soon. The racks are now being manufactured locally with 3-week turnaround and high quality; however, the factory will be closing in the upcoming months. As a result, we are shopping around for a new manufacturer.
