Inquiry (采购产品): Steam muffler for boiler vent Furnish an Steam Vent Exhaust Silencer for noise reduction from a coal-fired boiler superheater steam vent. Unit shall be a reactive and dissipative type consisting of first and second stage diffusers to direct the flow to the outside walls of perforated plate. The silencer depending on the model shall reduce the initial noise level by 30-40 dB(A). Current measured noise level is 128 dB(A) @ approx. 15 ft. radius. Service conditions: 650 psig @ 750 F max. at superheater, discharging through approx. 20 feet of XS CS pipe, a gate valve and into the silencer @ a maximum flow rate of 40,000 pph. Vent is only used on startup of boiler until the pendent superheater up to temperature, then the venting is stopped, with approximate six venting cycles per year, anticipated. The silencer shall be a welded carbon steel or alloy construction with included sufficient corrosion allowance, and will be supplied with a flanged gusseted inlet of sufficient rating for the anticipated pressure induced by the silencer, NPT condensate drains of sufficient size for vertical installation, an outlet pipe stub sufficiently sized so as not to create added exhaust noise, attachment lugs of sufficient number and strength to support the silencer weight, resist reactive forces and wind forces from 80 mph sustained wind speeds. All exterior carbon steel surfaces of the silencer will be coated with a high heat aluminum paint. Interior components shall be resistant to the effects of intermittent periods of high temperature and long dormant periods. **** Hidden Message ***** Tom Kitko 1050 Chemstrand Ave Decatur, AL 35601 USA Company: Solutia, Inc Title: Mech Engr Phone: (256) 552-2548 Fax: (256) 552-3400 E-mail: takitk@solutia.com **** Hidden Message ***** takitk@solutia.com
