Donating work gloves Inquiry (采购产品): Donating work gloves To Whom It May Concern, The Great Lakes Naval Memorial and Museum is a small non-profit organization (501(c)(3)) which is the caretaker of the USS SILVERSIDES, America’s most famous surviving WWII submarine, and the USCGC McLANE, a 125-foot Coast Guard Cutter that served during Prohibition, WWII and the Cold War. We conduct overnight encampment programs for scout groups, are an educational resource for local schools, and are the second largest tourist attraction in the county. This September 9, 2005, the museum is joining with United Way of Muskegon for the 10th annual Day of Caring, where 300-500 local volunteers will re-paint, plant, renovate, polish and build two small structures on our property as Phase I of the museum’s building plans culminating with a new structure. We would like your help with this project. Any donations of work gloves for our volunteers to use would be greatly appreciated. In return you will be thanked by name in our local paper, The Muskegon Chronicle, which runs both articles and a full-page thank you advertisement, as well as our newsletter and website, both of which have global reach—we send our newsletter to several countries twice a year. We would gladly send a letter for tax purposes to you should you decide to donate. Every donation will help make this community program a success.
