Inquiry (采购产品): Carbide Sintered blanks Application / Use : Initially we brazed 10 inserts into a circular saw cutter blank. Then grinding operation is done onto this brazed cutter to form cutting edge. We have noticed that many times some inserts crack during the grinding operation itself. Then this cutters are used on SPM’s for grooving operation in different materials like: ? Alloy Steel (Hardness 25 HRC). ? Aluminum Casting (Hardness 90 BHN). ? Molded Bakelite. We are currently using a K10 grade sintered blanks available locally in India. This grade is OK for Aluminum & Bakelite. But in Alloy Steel cutting we face lot failure in terms of cracking.
