Mobile Expandable shelter Inquiry (采购产品): Mobile Expandable shelter To Whom It May Concern, Hello, I am SMSgt Wayne M. Smith and am currently in the United States Air Force. My unit is looking to procure several mobile expandable shelters. I have attached a list of requirements which is flexible based upon what your organization can provide. As always because we are in the military and governed by Congress, cost is an important factor that we must take into consideration. If your organization is able to build something satisfying most if not all of our requirements, please let me know and a visit to your organization can be scheduled based on your availability. Smith Wayne.smith@langley.af.mil HQ ACC/A8ZL DSN: 574-4219 CIV: 757-764-4219 Cell: 757-508-1139 REQUIREMENTS: - Must be erected by no more than two people - Rigid shell when expanded (sides, bottom and top, prefer honeycomb design) - When expanded shelter must have minimum of 250 sq ft - Must be self supportive and as a minimum contain the following -- Generator (30-60kw) -- HVAC units -- 2 five drawer safes will be mounted prior to shipment (Government furnished equipment GFE) -- Mounts for external Camera system (cameras GFE) -- All Power Cables (must adapt to existing DDF and AELAMS generators) -- Allow for audio visual equipment to be installed -- All power and communication cables will be shielded -- No windows -- Must have capability to connect outside communication lines (communication panel, must be lockable from the outside) - Prefer some sort of wheel assembly be available if we desire to transport shelter and generator pallet -- Must be easily installed and removed -- Must be able to transport at 55 mph -- Desire wheel set be integral to system frames with the capability to remove if desired - Must be able to connect one or more shelters together and maintain a continuous seal (as many as required) - Must be transportable on the following military aircraft (C-130, C-17 and C-5, Pallet spaces are 108” long x 88” wide and max height is 96” (96” includes 2 -3” for pallet)) - Shelter must not exceed two aircraft pallet spaces (216” long (max) x 88”wide x 96” tall) when closed for transport NOTE: Will not consider shelter with length exceeding 216 inches in length - Generator/HVAC pallet (can be separate from shelter) must not exceed one aircraft pallet space and must contain the generator and HVAC’s -- Generator must be capable to be removed from the HVAC to support maintenance. -- Generator/HVAC pallet should be capable of running all shelters that are attached, do not want requirement of one generator/HVAC pallet per shelter pallet, for example: if I connect three shelters, one generator/HVAC should operate all three shelters -- Generator will operate minimum of 24 hours between fueling -- Generator/HVAC will be off the shelf, nothing unique - Shelter pallet and generator/HVAC pallet individually will not exceed 10k pounds - Capable of separating area within the shelter. - Must have one personnel door (normal width) that can be opened from inside or out and contain the following -- Peephole -- Cypher lock (mechanical or electrical (must be a manual override device if lock or power fails) -- Must be able to lock from the inside Must meet all OSHA requirements - 2nd door must contain the following -- Must be minimum 48 inches wide -- No way of opening from outside (no external hardware) -- Emergency panic hardware on inside -- Must be able to secure from inside - Floors must be rigid design and be capable of holding 200 pounds per sq foot Environmental - Must be capable of operating in all environmental conditions such as rain, ice, snow, blowing sand, direct sunlight and operate between temperatures -30 to 130 degrees F. - Must maintain an interior temperature between 65 and 85 degrees F to provide the operators a comfortable/safe work environment. - Must be capable of withstanding a constant 70 (was 60) mph wind. Maintainability - Must not require special tools to set up and operate. - Must not require an overly-stringent inspection or preventative maintenance schedule. Routine (minimum 12-month) schedule is satisfactory. - Must be easily repaired in the field. All replaceable hardware, seals, hinges, etc. must be easily removed and replaced by using technicians/operators.
