Inquiry (采购产品): screen-printing a cyclindrical object To whom it may concern: The most important: --We're trying to print a single color pattern on a cylindrical acrylic (PMMA) rod. --We've found that Nazdar 9700 series screen printing ink will work for our purposes (specifically, 9775 Super Opaque White) --Since we're trying to extract light with the ink, a high opacity ink is very important. Pad printing probably won't work because it is unable to get the necessary ink thicknesses for our purposes. --The pattern will be printed on a 90 degree swath of the rod (i.e., we're not trying to print completely around the rod) Also important, but not necesarily critical at this point: --They need to be able to hold the pattern needs to a very precise resolution (+/- 0.005") --The rods will probably vary in length from 2 feet to 5 feet depending on the type of luminaire we're trying to make. --The diameter is 3/4" or 5/8" If you are able to do it get back in touch with me at 440-836-7444.
