Inquiry (采购产品): Coast Guard Pump Shaft Seals Hello, I'm trying to resolve an issue with mechanical shaft seals used on several different pumps. There are five pump models involved: 4000D 1-1/2X1 R.F.FL 4000D 2X1-1/2 F.F.FL 3000DVL 2X2 F.F.FL 3000DVL 2X2 R.F.FL 3000DH-SP 2X1-1/2 F.F.FL All these pumps' Allowance Parts Lists indicate the same mechanical shaft seal, 2-5006-21/40V, with the exception of 3000DVL 2X2 R.F.FL, which lists simply 5006-21/40 (without the 2- prefix.) Is this information correct? We've received feedback from the fleet that one of these part numbers indicates a double seal, which is useable (at a higher price, and only half is needed). Is this correct? Our National Stock Number locally (at ELC) references both part numbers; if these are two different seals (or a double and single version of the same item) then this is incorrect. Defense Logistics Center only lists the 2- prefix reference number against tne NSN. Any clarification you could provide us would be greatly appreciated.
