urethane mixing and dispensing equipment Inquiry (采购产品): urethane mixing and dispensing equipment 1. Background: Electric Boat Corporation installs 2” tk tiles. The ?”-3/8” seams between adjacent tiles require filling with a urethane blend – see Table I. 2. Current process requires first blending Part B ingredients into a homogenous mixture – see Table I for Part B mixture. 3. Parts A and B are weighed out separately and are then mixed together into a homogenous mixture. 4. The homogenous mixture of Part A and Part B is placed into a Semco dispensing tube and then injected into the seams between adjacent tiles. 5. Since the seam filling is performed at a different location from the mixing area, Parts A and B are currently placed in individual containers, nitrogen blanketed to prevent atmospheric / moisture contamination, and stored at specified storage temperatures – see Table A. When needed the 2 part kits of Part A and B are opened on-site, mixed together, placed in a Semco tube, and then injected into the seams. 6. Production Rate: (10) to (100) seam fill kits are used each day. 7. Electric Boat Corporation is interested in automating a portion or the entire process. Therefore investigating three operations: a. Mixer capable of blending the materials in Part B, listed in Table I (i.e. Versalink P-1000, Elftex 8 carbon black, Cab-o-sil, and Expancell 551DE microspheres). Batch size: 4000-8000 grams b. Mixer / dispenser capable of blending the materials in Part B, listed in Table I (i.e. Versalink P-1000, Elftex 8 carbon black, Cab-o-sil, and Expancell 551DE microspheres). Batch size: 4000-8000 grams. Capable of dispensing 150 grams (+ 2 grams) of blended Part B. Storage tank must keep Part B at proper storage temperature and provide nitrogen blanket to prevent contamination. c. Mixer / dispenser capable of blending / dispensing Parts A and B, listed in Table I, into a Semco tube or equivalent dispensing tube. Semco tube or equivalent dispensing tube is 10 to 20 oz in size. Mixer / dispenser must be portable. Storage tanks must keep Parts A and B materials at proper storage temperatures, listed in Table I. Parts A and B must be kept under a nitrogen blanket to prevent contamination. Storage tanks for Parts A and B materials must facilitate being refilled or change out. Batch size: Part A – 2000 to 4000 grams; Part B – 5000 to 10000 grams. Table I 1. Part A a. Isonate 2143L 1).
