custom plastic business Inquiry (采购产品): custom plastic business Hello, My name is Ronald Imel, I am a Senior buyer with Stumps Party located in northern Indiana. I Came across your web site and I am interested in finding out more about you capabilities. We are a School Supply company and are looking for someone to supply us with plastic badges in various shapes. I can email some images of items we are looking to have produced. We are looking for the lowest possible Qty runs, (prefer minimum qty runs of 100). We have approx 50 different "Stock Shapes" that we offer (order on a regular basis), and we also offer several "Custom Options" that our customer can design their own shape. The majority of our business is in the fall (School Spirit Season). Qty per style will range from 100 to 20,000 annually. Here is some basic information that might be helpful: 1.) Mold size is 16x16 with 10" of shut height and requires a 125 - 150 ton molding machine with at least 8 oz. of shot. 2.) Material is API 550-11 HIPS colored white, Part weights vary by part. 3.) Badge, Keytag, Magnet, and Bagtag (1 mold) is a 4 cavity hot runner with controllers. 4.) Job requires a full time operator to remove parts, inspect, and sort by cavity. 5.) Job includes a 5' x 10' CNC router, graphic software, and CNC routing software. 6.) Job requires that graphic art files be manipulated and cavity plates CNC cut. Our current molder for many years is closing his doors, but is very willing to discuss and help with any information that a new vendor may need.
