Inquiry (采购产品): Steel I-beams I need some information on span, load-bearing ability and prices on steel I-beams in 40 foot lengths. I need a 40 foot ridge beam for a garage/shop building. Building is 24' X 40' with 10:12 pitch. Beam will only be supported on both ends, with 3 steel "rafters" attached every 10' in between. 8' X 10' roof panels, each weighing around 180 lbs., will be attached to these rafters. Snow loads are for Sullivan County, NY (heavy).
