Inquiry (采购产品): Check fixtures and gages Sir, I am gathering information concerning check fixtures and gages. I am in a off-campus Industrial Technology program at Fresno State and am in a facilities design class (I live in Ventura County). Our class is involved in a project in which we are assisting a local manufacturer in implementing a new high production rate manufacturing facility (for manufacturing pneumatic valves to be used on a new type of aircraft)using JIT and lean manufacturing techniques. I am researching possible new test fixtures and gages such as Go-No Go gages for verifying material processes, critical dimensions of certain components, etc. If possible, also to combine fixtures and gages. I am also looking at possible sources for these items. I am only making basic recommendations to the company on this. The company will perform more detailed work and analysis as well as any final decisions. I would just like to verify that for items such as this, you can manufacture them based on provided specs and drawings? Also, can you provide me with any additional information or literature as it pertains to this?
