My duties include disassembly, assembly and machining of a wide verity of pump cases and hardware associated with the pump industry. I am currently operating all manual machines, Horizontal Boring Mills, Vertical Boring Mills, Lathes, Mills, and Grinders. Most tolerances were +/- .001 turning/milling, +/- .0002 grinding. Edro Specialty Steels 5-05 / 6-06 Conshohocken, Pa My primary duties at Edro were machine shop supervisor/ machine trouble shooter. Edro had five cnc mills, four manual mills and two large saws for machining mold plates. As well as instructing men on the machines, it was my duty to see that all machines were kept running. I was at Erdo only for a short time because I found a higher paying job closer to home. Turbo Research Inc 2-95 / 6-05 Lionville, Pa TRI is a small shop that manufactures and refurbishes Fluid Drives and film bearings for the power generating industries, they employ about 20 people. My duties at TRI were to setup and operate, all conventional and CNC equipment. (Mills, lathes, grinders, etc) I also programmed the Cnc’s. (Mastercam Programming). Also I would troubleshoot and perform maintaince of both manual and CNC machines. (Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic). Chester Machine Works 4-84 / 2-95 Chester, Pa Chester Machine was a jobbing shop that worked on medium to large parts. I started at CMW as a machinist, operating all shop equipment. I was sent to school for CNC programming, and did that for a few years. It was my job to reverse engineer many parts, make a drawing for the part and then make a program to manufacture a new part, instructing other machinist or doing the job myself, using manual machines or cnc's. I was assistant Forman for four years. When the general Forman left, I assumed his responsibilities and supervised the shop for two years before leaving myself. Tactair Fluid Controls 9-73 / 4-84 King of Prussia, Pa Tactair was a manufacturing company that produced close tolerance hydraulic and pneumatic valves mostly for the military and caterpillar tractor. My beginning position at Tactair was machine operator working primarily on milling machines, lathes and grinding equipment. When we bought our first CNC, I was the first to setup and operate it. This was a 4 axis Fanuc control horizontal mill.
