Inquiry (采购产品): lead screws and nuts Dear Sir, We have been using acme threaded rods of 1 ?” diameter with a variety of different nuts (steel, bronze, long, short) for an elevator on a welding carriage, which we use in our tank erection process. We have found that their life has been shortened due to dirt and corrosion acquired over time. Our desire is to change to a system where the rods do not rotate and instead the nut is driven. This will require a drivable nut which will also have a bearing housing so that the load can be transferred during rotation. We require rods approximately 8’ to 10 ‘ long and when used vertically, capable of 5000 pounds each in lift. At least 8 assemblies will be required.
