Inquiry (采购产品): request for metal spinning capabilities I have been requested by one of my customers to investigate the possiblity of metal spinning some of their products. The customer is Precision Products Ltd., in the Guelph area. They manufacture basebands and wheels for the lift truck industry and construction sector. At present they do not have any real working drawings for the products, however there is a product detail of some of the requirements, as below. At this point we are trying to determine if you would have the capabilities based on the product dimensions to handle this type of product relative to your equipment. Alternatively if you cannot handle full product range as indicated below, could you advise if you are capable of handling any sizes in these ranges? Products required Material type common to both A36, 44W, 50W Lot runs 2 to 24 pieces. Total annual requirement in various sizes 1000 to 2000 pcs/year. #1 -Rim spinning Inside Dia. 12.125" thru to 48" Length range= 20" to 53" Thickness 0.313 thru to 1.000" Formed Edge requirements 1) towards OD and towards ID Angles = 90 degrees thru to 100 degrees Distances = 1.000" thru to 3.000" Possible for two step spinning (ie turn top edge over) Possible to form both sides of the rim? (The customer would supply the blank cylinder) #2 Disc Spinning Outside Dai. 12.125" thru to 48" Thickness 0.313" thru to 1.000 Formed edge requirements Angles up to 90 degrees Distance 0.750" up to 8.000" Possible requirements for two step spinning (ie: center flat, then at 30 degrees to edge) (The customer would supply the blank disc) If you could advise whether you have the capabilites to produce these profiles or certain sizes within the overall range it would be appreciated.
