Inquiry (采购产品): New Customer Query Hello, I am a project manager for a specialty gas company, BOC Edwards, in Raleigh-Durham, NC. We fill high purity gases into steel and aluminum cylinders for use in semiconductor manufacturing, approximately 55,000 cylinders per year. As part of our mfg process, steel cyls and badly dinged aluminum cyls are painted using spray guns. Our paint booths are outside, and even with heaters it takes anywhere from 1-4 hours for the paint to dry depending on ambient humidity, temp, etc. The process is inefficient. We are exploring the idea of coating our cylinders with some sort of durable coating such that a cylinder could cycle to our customers numerous times without needing to be repainted each time. Perhaps some sort of clear urethane or nylon coating, hardy enough to withstand the scraping off of markings and stickers from the most recent trip to the customer. If this sounds like something you do, I'd be happy to discuss it via phone. The number is below.
