One task has entailed the research for purchase of 2"x2"x1/4" (50mmx50mmx6mm WT) wall thickness and 1 1/4"x1 1/4"x 0.145"(32mmx32mmx3.6 or 4mmWT)square hollow section tube in 316 stainless steel. The sizes are called up in a US Navy spec, which the Royal Australian Navy wish to follow. Could you assist us in providing the following: Are the sizes available and or readily available? What are alternative sizes if not available. If available where are they manufactured. What would be the minimum ordering quantities. Cost and lead times would also be appreciated.
