Inquiry (采购产品): Contract Manufacturing Question Hello. I am working with a small R&D company that is looking into contract manufacturing (for a sensor they have developed). I know very little about contract manufacturing, so I'm looking to contact a handful of manufacturers for more information. I found you online and would like to get more information on what you have to offer. Our device is a glass core with a coating applied via sputtering (we can have the cores done separately if you don't have the ability to do sputtering). Then, we need a piece of graphite to be cut and affixed onto a shaft, that then fits inside the coated core. We then need 4 leads affixed to the sensor and a stainless steel sheath put over the entire device. Do you handle this type of assembly/manufacturing? If not, do you know of any companies that would (or the type of company I should look for)? If you do, what would you need us to give you so you could provide a ballpark estimate of costs and turnaround time (right now, it doesn't have to be all that accurate -- just need a sense of the types of prices something like this might cost). What type of turnaround times are typical? What other issues are there with contract manufacturing that we should be taking into account? Minimum orders, inventory assumptions, etc...
