We want both high coercivity and low coercivity magnets with no plastic backing. We normally attach the magnetic strip to the back of the cards before lamination. This is the reason why we want those without plastic backing. If there is plastic backing, the magstrip shows on the front side of the card as an indentation or a bulge.
