Inquiry (采购产品): frame Greetings Wondering if you may be interested in manufacturing a product for us. We presently make this product from 1x3 spruce (actual size would be 3/4"x 2 1/2") and it would require 16 linear ft. To determine if it would be feasible to fabricate this product from carbon fiber (or honeycomb) let's start with this: What would be the weight of 16' if made from carbon fiber (or honeycomb) ? Would carbon fiber be as strong as 1x3 spruce, ie to resist bending? Can carbon fiber be glued to assemble 4 pieces as a rectangle, ie like a picture frame? What would be the cost including shipping? The quantity would be about 200, 000 units. Delivery would be to Mississauga, Canada. Hope you will be able to get me a quick answer, even an estimate would do.
