I am an AS-Level student of St-Birinus School, Oxfordshire (England). As part of the OCR advanced physics course I am taking, I am attempting to piece together a presentation about the science behind, and real-life applications of, strengthened glass and safety glass. This project is a crucial part of the course and so I am keen to gather as much information as possible. I am hoping to investigate how the material science of glass can significantly change its properties, especially in regards to, laminated, shatter-resistant and strengthened glasses.
