Inquiry (采购产品): price quote We have 18 pcs of 1" dia. 4140 material x 32" long with 2 holes in that we sent out to another heat treater and they sent them back saying they tried to harden half of them and they didn't get hard. They questioned whether of not the pcs were 4140. When they were returned to us, we sent a pc to be analyzed. The analysis showed it was 4140 material. We can send you a copy of this analysis if you would like. If this is something you could do please quote cost to harden these pieces to a 50-52 RC. Also the pieces would have to be processed vertically, as they need to be straight. Some of them they tried to harden have a slight bow in them, would you be able to straighten them? Let me know if this is something you can do and what the cost would be? A quick response would be greatly appreciated.
