Need Price and Delivery

Inquiry (采购产品): Need Price and Delivery I need to get minimum buy, price, and delivery on roughly 0.443" diameter 410SS Wire for a cold heading application. My specification is as follows (My raw code is 641443, which is referenced in the spec for specific characteristics): STAINLESS AND HEAT RESISTANT ALLOY STEEL SECTION: 1.0 SCOPE AND TERMINOLOGY Date: 02/06/92 SECTION: 1.0 Rev.: A 1.1 This section of the Material Control Manual establishes the purchasing specifications and quality requirements for the stainless steels and heat resisting alloy used by the Rockford Products Corporation in the manufacture of fasteners and other cold formed parts. 1.2 This specification does not use the commonly used terminology of "Rods" and "Bars" to differentiate size. Material is either drawn or not drawn material. Not drawn material, of any size, is termed a "Rod". 1.3 Material purchased to this specification shall be Cold Heading Quality (CHQ) unless otherwise noted on the Purchase order. 1.4 Stainless steels are purchased as annealed rods, (AN Rod) annealed and cold finished heading wire or (wire) as annealed at finish size drawn material (AFS). 1.5 The processing requirements (nomenclature) for the heat resisting alloy will be noted in the Purchase Order (e.g. SAIP, SAFS). 1.6 GRADE IDENTIFICATION OF STAINLESS ALLOYS Grade identification of stainless alloys is somewhat confusing and there are shortcomings to using either the UNS numbering System or the AISI serial numbers. For the purpose of grade identification this document uses as its basis ASTM Spec A-493. For clarification, Rockford Products Corporation Grade 302 HQ is the same as AISI type SM-7. SECTION: 2.0 APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS Date: 02/06/92 SECTION: 2.0 Rev.: A 2.1 The following specification, test methods, procedures and standards are incorporated into the Material Control Manual. Revision in affect at the time the purchase order is issued will apply. American Society for Testing and Materials DS 56B Metals and Alloys in the Unified Numbering System. A262 Practices for Detecting Susceptibility to Intergranular Attack in Stainless Steels. A484 Specification for General Requirements for Stainless and Heat Resisting Bars, Billets and Forging. J423 Methods of Measuring Case Depth. SECTION: 3.0 METHODS OF MANUFACTURE Date: 02/06/92 SECTION: 3.0 Rev.: A 3.1 The methods for melting and controlling the fabrication of the Stainless Steels and Heat Resisting Alloy purchased to this specification are left solely to the supplier of the material. However, they should be representative of general industry practices and capable of producing material to recognized industry and governmental standards. 3.2 Strand cast material may be supplied unless otherwise noted on the Purchase Order. SECTION: 4.0 CHEMICAL COMPOSITION Date: 02/06/92 SECTION: 4.0 Rev.: A 4.1 The chemical composition of stainless materials supplied to this specification must be within the limits established by ASTM Specification A 493 except as noted in Paragraph 4. 4.2 The chemical composition of the heat resisting alloy supplied to this specification unless referenced on the Purchase Order, shall be within the limits outlined in the combined SAE/ASTM documents J1086/DS56B. 4.3 Tolerances for material chemical analysis shall not vary from the reported ladle/heat chemistry by more than the standard limits shown in ASTM A555. 4.4 SULPHUR AND PHOSPHOROUS LEVELS The Sulfur and Phosphorus content of materials is to be controlled to the lowest possible level in all material and for stainless steels shall not exceed: Phosphorus 0.025% max Sulfur 0.010% max SECTION: 5.0 STRUCTURE Date: 02/06/92 SECTION: 5.0 Rev.: A 5.1 GENERAL Stainless Steels and Heat Resisting Alloy furnished to this specification shall have been fully annealed during processing and the microstructure shall not exhibit evidence of improper treatment (prior structure). The structure shall not show evidence of gross banding, segregation nor inclusions. It shall be free from internal defects that may be detrimental to the cold forming or extrusion processes and to any subsequent thermal processing. 5.2 MICROSTRUCTURE Microstructure of purchased material must not show indications of internal nor peripheral grain growth nor of carbides in the grain boundaries. The basic structure shall be either austenitic, in the case of 300 series stainless steel, and ferritic with spheroidized carbides present for 400 series material. The structure of the wrought heat resisting alloy shall be essentially a spheroidized one. 5.3 CLEANLINESS Material cleanliness shall not exceed a level of S2O3. 5.4 CARBURIZATION - DECARBURIZATION Material shall not show evidence of any carbon pickup during processing and the hardenable (martensitic) grades shall be free from completely a ferritic decarburized zone. SECTION: 6.0 HARDENABILITY AND RESPONSE TO HEAT TREATMENT Date: 02/06/92 SECTION: 6.0 Rev.: A 6.1 STAINLESS STEEL Unless a specified hardenability is indicated on the Purchase Order or on an individual grade sheet, it is expected that the 410 Stainless Steel purchased to this specification produce the following response to heat treatment under the conditions outlined below: a) Austenitize at 1800 degrees F b) Oil quench in well agitated high speed quenching oil (H value .5) c) Hardness at middle of transverse section taken one diameter from the end of the test specimen. Section/Diameter Rockwell Hardness at Center 1/2" (12.7mm) and smaller 43 from 1/2" (12.7mm) thru 3/4" (19mm) 42 6.2 HEAT RESISTANT ALLOY PWA-722 Unless a specified hardenability is indicated on the Purchase Order or on an individual grade sheet, it is expected that the PWA-722 Alloy purchased to this specification produces the following response to heat treatment under the conditions outlined below: a) Must respond as outlined in AMS 6304 SECTION: 7.0 MATERIAL QUALITY Date: 02/06/92 SECTION: 7.0 Rev.: A 7.1 Material purchased to this specification shall be Cold Heading Quality (CHQ). This quality designation indicates that the material will be capable of producing cold formed parts without defects which are the result of surface or sub-surface imperfections such as laps, seams, pits, porosity, segregation, shrinkage, inclusions, grain growth, etc. 7.2 Seams that exceed the depths given below may be a cause for rejection of materials. GUIDELINES FOR MAXIMUM SEAM DEPTH ROD AND DRAWN MATERIAL Rod or Drawn Material Size Not Drawn Coils Drawn Coils under.375 ( < 9mm) .003" (0.07mm) .002" (.05mm) .375/.500 ( 9mm/12.0mm) .004" (0.10mm) .003" (.08mm) .500/.735 (12mm/18.0mm) .0056" (0.14mm) .004" (.10mm) .735/ 1.00 (18mm/25.4mm) .0064" (0.16mm) .004" (.10mm) over 1.00 ( > 25.4mm) .0085" (0.21mm) .005" (.13mm) 7.21 Seam depths may be determined by filing through the seam until it can no longer be seen and comparing the resultant diameter with the original diameter of the rod, bar or wire. Method of determining surface imperfections described in SAE J349 may also be used. In case of dispute, microscopic measurement of seam depths on samples prepared in accordance with ASTM E3
