Inquiry (采购产品): Hand-Held Controller Accessories Gentlemen: LM STS-Huntsville Operations (http://lmtds.hiwaay.net/) is currently searching for a company that can assist us in designing and manufacturing a protective cover and a carrying case for our hand-held controller. We do not have a dimensioned drawing for our controller at this time. However, the controller itself is approximately 10” x 4” x 2”. We will need holes for two connectors and an antenna mount. Thank you George Quillivan Procurement Manager Protective cover for Direct Controller · Protective cover must be removeable · Maximum weight is 0.2 kilograms · Material isn't important other than it should protect the edges of the housing from being chipped or the housing from being broken if dropped · We don't require a drop test, but keep in mind that we will be dropping it from 1 meter · You should not be concerned about the condition of the inside of the unit if dropped, only cosmetics on the outside, i.e. cracks, chipped edges, etc. · A strap (suggest elastic) on the back of the cover that the user can put their hand in to hold the unit during operation. We must also attach a lanyard so it would be good to have somewhere to attach the lanyard on this strap · color should be black. Lockheed Martin logo is optional · Acceptable materials, but not required, would be Thermoform and cordura · Housing drawing will be provided We need 1 of the protective covers by March 1. We then will need 10 units by March 15. Total quantity is for 110 units, 110 which must ship by December 1, 2005. We will take delivery of the additional 105 at any time. Carrying Case The carrying case is a bag to transport the direct controller and its 2 antennas and cables in so that all components are protected from being lost and the elements. · The case should be water resistent · compartments should be designed to hold the contoller resting flat in the case · elastic loops (2) should be on the inside to hold the antennas · two additional compartments should be designed to hold the battery adapter box and the charging cable · there are no weight requirements · Bag should be black with Lockheed Martin logo · all hardware must be metal Total quantity is 115 units. 10 must be delivered by March 15, 2005.
