Inquiry (采购产品): Black & Decker OEM battery charger. I have a Black & Decker 9.6 volt Quantum drill with a out of service battery charger. I have a Base station charger that I push the battery down into to get it charger. Last week - Friday - the charger started smoking from inside & melted some of the plastic on the outside. I don't know you job but it looks like 2 of 3 resistors decided to quit/finished and thats what burned & heated the case- thats with the unit in tack - I could see down inside. Upon opening the case : there is a small little circuit board that is the first point of contact for the small cable. This is on the chargers right side of red light. The charger says it works for 8.4 volt & 9.6 volt batteries & the transformer says its output is 10.15 & 11.6 VDC. I don't know you job. but it looks like 2 of 3 resistors decided to quit/are finished and thats what burned & that was confirmed when i opened the case. I know you hear this all the time---can you build or replace the 2 resistors? This charger & drill is going on 15-20 years.
