Inquiry (采购产品): Phosphoric Acid Testing Can you perform Phosphoric Acid Test as follows; TEST PIECE: NAS1101E4H20 Screw, Dry Film Lubricant Coated (Ref. .250-28 thd x 1.25 long) PREPARATION OF REAGENTS; (a) Ammonium Molybdate Solution - 0.5 gram of ammonium molybdate shall be dissolved in 100 ml of cold water and the resulting mixture poured into 35 ml of nitric acid (Specific Gravity = 1.2). (b) Benzidine Solution - 0.05 gram of benzidine base or benzidine chloride shall be dissolved in 10 ml of concentrated acetic acid and diluted with water to 100 ml. PROCEDURE - A small amount of the coating shall be transferred to a clean filyter paper by lightly rubbing the latter over the coated surface. A drop of ammonium molybdate solution shall be placed on the transferred coating, followed by a drop of the benzidine solution. Then, the paper shall be held over a container of ammonia until a blue stain appears, either momentarily or continuously. If a blue stain does not appear, either momentarily or continuously, the part shall be rejected. Please quote or advise ASAP. If you are unable to perform, please provide an alternate lab.
